Job Location: Farnworth
Job Salary: 40k-£55k Per Year

As an Acquisition Manager you will be part of the Company’s Acquisition team and responsible for the delivery of necessary landlord legal consents, planning and access rights to install new, or upgraded mobile phone radio base station sites prior to going into build and installation works, across various Telecommunication clients. You will report to the Senior Acquisition Manager and Senior Deployment Manager.

Key Responsibilities
To provide a professional service in respect of Acquisition and Planning delivery across a portfolio of sites within a defined Scope of Works and Processes
Management of internal and supplier delivery via regular reviews, meetings and reporting
Identification of potential risks to delivery and mitigate as necessary, working with Senior Deployment Managers and seeking agreement from stakeholders about sites lists and delivery timescales as required
Update of trackers and schedules and provision of statistical reporting against SLA’s
Input site data into internal and client systems where required
Raise and track Financial Purchase Orders & issue to Suppliers
Reviewing and reporting on progress status, forecasts, blockers with associated mitigation
Provision of reports and meeting attendance
Liaison with client Delivery Managers, Acquisition / Planning/ Community Specialists, Estates Managers and external Landlords and their associated third party representatives
Collation and review of Acquisition handover packs
Development of Assistant Acquisition Managers to aid internal promotion
Assistance to Build Managers regarding access to site blockers

Essential Skills The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
Prior experience of Property & Estate/Land Management and/or Local Authority Planning process, within the mobile telecommunications industry
Working knowledge (as a minimum) of Town & County Planning legislation across the devolved regions applying to Telecommunication sites and recent change impact
Experience dealing with a diverse range of land owners including public and private companies and local Councils
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Have a confident, engaging manner with excellent communication skills
Client Interaction and Engagement
Develop strong customer engagement with the client, and be adept at manipulating client tools/reports on a regular basis
Organisational & Time Management skills
Attention to detail
Good Microsoft skills especially Excel
Be keen to learn new skills, develop knowledge and move to a higher level within the company

Desired Competencies (Not Essential):
RICS and/or RTPI accredited o Experience of CTIL / MBNL Acquisition and Planning methodology
New Telecommunications Code Agreement dealings
Prior experience of databases such as Omni, Evenflow, ADC Build, Remedy, Cellnex AGORA, Siterra, SharePoint, Arqiva Gateway
Technical familiarity with Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei base station equipment especially 4G/5G
